Are you a high adrenaline junkie? Does adventure excite you? If you run, walk for long hours or go hiking, then the discomfort that your shoes give you might inhibit your enjoyment. Foot ache, blisters, etc. stay for days and are caused by doing tedious work with your feet, thereby stopping you from doing activities that you are interested in. This is why you need comfortable insoles that don’t stop you from doing what you want and also provide you the support you need. If you are wondering, here are the major reasons for buying a new pair of insoles: -

  • Arch pain and plantar fasciitis
  • Standing for long periods
  • Ball of foot pain
  • Morton’s toe
  • Under-pronation
  • Splints due to running
  • Arthritis
  • Diabetes
  • Heel pain

When you are buying new shoe insoles, there are a lot of important points that you must keep in mind: -

  • Size: The size of the insole is determined by the shoe size range in which your foot size falls. The insole is manufactured in different sizes and you can trim off the unnecessary length from behind the insole while placing it in your footwear. For example, if your foot size is 6.5 and the insoles are sized 6–7, you should buy the next size, that is, 7–8.
  • Position: Purchasing a full-length insole might require you to remove the insole from your shoe before placing the new one. Only those which are very thin and flat can be used alongside the already existing insoles.
  • Foot arch: There are three types of foot arch: Neutral, Low and High. The Neutral arches are medium arches. The lower arches include flat feet and fallen arches. The high arches include the extensively curvy arch.
  • Type of Footbed: Some four-footbeds that support the insoles: Rigid, semi-rigid, cushioned and no support. You should decide the type of footbed you need based on your requirements.
  • The material of insole: The materials used in making insoles are gel, foam, leather, and cork. Foam is usually preferred for cushioning and good support. The gel is used for shock absorption. Leather is good at cushioning and giving a good design.

People buy shoe insoles for various reasons. From foot pain to sports activities, the insoles are popularly demanded all these issues. People also buy insoles to replace insoles that had come with your shoes and have gone bad. Choosing the right insole might be difficult but keeping the above criteria in mind will make the picture clearer for you. You can search for arch support insoles in Malaysia online and buy the ones that meet your requirements perfectly.
